A Hierarchy Topology Design Using a Hybrid Evolutionary Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor network a powerful network contains many wireless sensors with limited power resource, data processing, and transmission abilities. Wireless sensor capabilities including computational capacity, radio power, and memory capabilities are much limited. Moreover, to design a hierarchy topology, in addition to energy optimization, find an optimum clusters number and best location of ...
متن کاملPower Management in Wireless Sensor Networks: Challenges and Solutions
This paper provides a novel taxonomy of various energy conservation techniques applied to sensor networks applications in recent times. Moreover, we present our novel approaches in the same context including utilizing software sensors and local adaptive data compression based on Fuzzy Transform. Keywords—Wireless Sensor Networks; Power Management; Data Compression; Taxonomy; Fuzzy Transform
متن کاملEnviSensor: Environmental Data Collection via Participatory Sensor Networks Utilizing Mobile Devices
This master’s thesis will present the EnviSensor project, a mobile application paired with a low-cost Bluetooth sensor module to be utilized in the collection of environmental factors via a participatory sensor network. The EnviSensor project seeks to further research in the area of environmental data collection within a participatory sensor network as well as demonstrating the viability of wid...
متن کاملA Cellular Automaton Based Algorithm for Mobile Sensor Gathering
In this paper we proposed a Cellular Automaton based local algorithm to solve the autonomously sensor gathering problem in Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (MWSN). In this problem initially the connected mobile sensors deployed in the network and goal is gather all sensors into one location. The sensors decide to move only based on their local information. Cellular Automaton (CA) as dynamical sy...
متن کاملEffects of temperature on the pathogenicity of Tylenchorhynchus clarus to alfalfa and observations on feeding.
The involvement of Tylenchorhynchus clarus in plant disease is reported. Addition of a suspension of surface-axenized nematodes reduced top and root growth of alfalfa. Reproduction of T. clarus was greater at 24 and 27 than at 21 C. The interaction of nematodes with temperature did not produce significant effects on alfalfa growth in the 4.5-mo experimental period. T. clarus fed endo- and ectop...
